Novag is an Australian Agricultural company that specializes in bringing quality Australian products to the world. From export-grade ostrich and emu products including gourmet meats, hides, furniture, leather goods, emu oil to fruit and vegetables, seafood and other meat and leathers.

Novag has quality agreements in place with related businesses, including abattoirs, tanneries, processors, manufacturers as well as some of Australia’s most efficient farmers. This allows us to oversee every stage of production from farming to processing and manufacturing.

Our involvement in the production process allows us to present the finest quality leathers that showcase the beautiful texture and feel of exotic leathers, rich lean and succulent low fat gourmet meats, soothing medicinal oils, fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood from the pristine waters along the Australian coastline and other meats from animals raised on lush Australian pastures.

Novag is a wholly owned subsidiary of a family-owned company that dates back to the early 1950’s.

The name Novag is derived from novas (nova) Latin for new and ag abbreviation for agriculture or “New Agriculture”.

In 1991, Novag established a commercial ostrich and emu farming operation in Australia, importing genetic ostrich stock from Canada (African Blacks), Zimbabwe (Blue Necks) and sourcing emus locally from the aboriginal community at Cherbourg in Queensland.

Our experience in marketing Australian ostrich and emu products has allowed us to develop international arrangements with clients in Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Europe. The close relationships we developed with our international clients enabled us to expand our range of products to include other farmed products and seafood.
